BANOS Musical Theatre |

BANOS Musical Theatre, previously known as BANAOS Banstead and Nork Amateur Operatic Society, has been established since 1928. It is a thriving and friendly group of singers, dancers and actors from all walks of life. They perform two productions each year. The spring show is a fully staged musical in May at the Epsom Playhouse, the Adrian Mann Theatre or the Charles Cryer Studio Theatre.
Recent main shows include Made in Dagenham, The Producers, Annie and G&S The Sorcerer. The group welcomes new members, both on stage and back stage and there is an active social side. Rehearsals are held on Tuesday and/or Thursday evenings at the Nork Community Centre, Nork Way, Banstead. Please contact the Society via their website, www.banos.co.uk

ESPA (East Surrey Performing Arts) |

Based in the Reigate and Redhill area, ESPA (formally known as ESOSOC) was formed to provide an opportunity for its members to develop their interest in opera and drama, by the production of operatic and music works, concerts and plays.
The society has around 200 members and presents an annual production in Spring at The Harlequin Theatre, Redhill, following rehearsals beginning in the Autumn. Recent presentations have included musicals such as Pirates of Penzance-Broadway version, Sunset Boulevard, the Addams Family and Miracle on 34th Street.
ESPA also runs youth shows on a regular basis. YESPA (formally known as YESOS) performed Les Miserables in 2015 for which they won a NODA award. So, whatever your age, for details of membership please contact Sally Durrant on 01737 247046 or email sallycdurrant@gmail.com

Oxted Operatic Society |

Oxted Operatic Society has been a resident society at the Barn Theatre, Oxted, for the last 70 years, performing two amateur musicals each year (April & November) plus a junior production (July). Established in 1947, this vibrant Society has now presented in excess of 130 shows at the Barn and enjoys a reputation for the quality of its productions, as evidenced by a number of NODA awards.
Rehearsals take place at St Peter's Hall, Limpsfield on Tuesdays and Thursdays. The society is well supported by both adult and junior acting members, together with an enthusiastic body of Patrons and Vice Presidents.
